Senior Operations Manager
Job Description
Lead the day-to-day facility management of hyperscale data centers in Jakarta. You represent the Developer/Operator and take full ownership of site uptime, maintenance, and team performance. Bridge the gap between technical site teams and regional leadership to guarantee seamless, 24/7 mission-critical operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct all facility management activities to ensure 100% uptime for client IT equipment.
- Supervise internal technicians and third-party vendors for mechanical and electrical maintenance.
- Execute preventive and predictive maintenance for UPS systems, generators, and cooling plants.
- Track Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) and implement strategies to reduce energy and water consumption.
- Enforce strict EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) protocols to protect all staff and visitors on-site.
- Control the site’s OpEx budget, including utility costs, spare parts procurement, and service contracts.
- Act as the primary lead during emergency events to ensure rapid recovery and clear stakeholder communication.
- Partner with sales and engineering teams to manage rack space, power allocation, and cooling loads.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Extensive background in managing large-scale facility operations or critical infrastructure.
- Direct experience in data centers, high-tech manufacturing, or 24/7 industrial environments.
- Strong understanding of high-voltage electrical systems, HVAC, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and hold vendors accountable to strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Excellent communication skills to provide technical updates to global clients and senior leadership.
- Ability to identify operational risks and implement long-term solutions for facility resilience.
- Ability to work in Jakarta or relocate as required for the role.
